Switch VGA on Notebooks with Nvidia Optimus

Nvidia Optimus sounds like one of the Transformer, unfortunately not, but the technology is no less cool.
Nvidia Optimus technology is optimizing the performance graphical processing unit (GPU) for notebook displays our outstanding graphics. This technology will work when the user runs an application that requires a better graphics card from NVIDIA. Well, some Acer notebook output is now equipped with this technology Nvidia Optimus.

Nvidia Optimus technology enables automatically switch graphics in applications that have a specific profile-profile. But if the application wants to run spacers do not have the profile of this chart can not automatically switch from Intel to Nvidia. However, the spacer can still change Intel to Nvidia graphics manually.

The steps are as follows:
  •      Click 'Start' and select 'Control Panel'
  •      Double click on the 'Nvidia Control Panel'
  •      Click 'View' and add the option 'Run with the graphics processor "to the Context Menu. After that close the Nvidia Control Panel
  •      Right click on the desired application of the spacer and select 'Run with the graphics processor'. Then click again 'High-performance NVIDIA processor'

Nvidia Optimus technology is found in the Acer Aspire 4750G notebook, Aspire 4755G, Aspire Timeline X 4830TG and Aspire Timeline X 3830TG.
